As I'm sitting here on the last day of 2011, I am, like most people, thinking through things I hope to leave in the old year.
Like many people, I would like to look better while spending less and doing more.  Yeah, that's the American dream, folks!
However, I am drawn to all the years of "This is the year!  This is the year I get in shape!" moments that I have had in the past.  This seems to be my December 31 ritual: feel bad about over eating for the holidays and plan to start my diet...on January 2.
This year will be different.
I would like to invite you on a journey with me.  This year I turn 30 and I don't just want to be in shape.  I want to bring you with me through what it's like to try all the different fad workouts.  I will Yoga, PureBarre, CrossFit, Zumba, BootCamp, HipHop Dance, etc. through fitness this year and tell you all about it!  If there's something you've wondered about, let me know!  I will tell you about my journey here.
As a start, I would like to try to spend at least 2 weeks on each workout (to try it out), but we'll see how everything goes.
This is the year that I get off the couch and try new things!  Starting Monday (of course).
